Yet another symbol of Japanese Summer!

I have still not properly talked about Japanese climate (I will soon!), but in Summer it is really hot and humid. Recently the temperature varies between the minimum of 24ºC and the maximum of 32ºC. I guess the temperature doesn’t scare that much, but the humidity makes the days become really tiring.

Anyway, as Summer comes by, mosquitos and other insects come along! And that’s why this exists: 蚊取り線香 (かとりせんこう, katorisenkou)!

It’s kind of an incense which serves as an anti-mosquito! It is coil shaped and the way to use it, is just lighting the outer tip of and let it slowly burn!

Mosquitos, bye bye! 😀
