Today is Children’s Day!
It is a day to respect children’s personalities and to celebrate their happiness! It is a national holiday since 1948, and it marks the end of the Golden Week holiday period.
In this day, there is the custom of hanging carp-shaped wind socks/flags which represent the family (black carp – father; red carp – mother; blue carp – son).
