Tokyo city lights created with thousands of dot stickers

Today I bring you yet a new type of contemporary art.

Oomura Yukino loves night landscapes, but she was once told by her university art professor that these are actually boring as artwork. Tokyo or other Japanese ‘big’ cities are famous for their neon lights that turn night into day, so there are a lot of works inspired in this modern metropolises.

That said, Oomura decided to use a cheap and familiar material to almost all Japanese and give a twist to this ‘boring’ theme. By using thousands of colored stickers than can be bought at any stationery store, Oomura gave a new look to famous Japanese landscapes.
