Last ohanami of the year

Yesterday I went with my orchestra friends to a nearby park to enjoy ohanami (お花見, lit. flower viewing)!

It’s one of the things Japanese people like to do the most, to eat, drink, talk, sing, having fun under the blooming cherry trees.

The flowers are already falling, so it might have been the last chance to watch them this year here in Tokyo.

So we enjoyed it to the last second, doing also flower viewing at night (夜桜, yozakura, lit. night sakura)!

Very soon, all the best pictures of this year’s sakura here in Tokyo! ^^
